Hunter’s Moon Festival @ Grand Rivers, KY

I was so proud of the team effort today in Grand Rivers.  I’m telling you, the people of Four Rivers served with great attitudes, effective love & healthy relationships today at the Hunter’s Moon festival.  It was truly a blessing to be a part of it.

And honestly, I didn’t personally do much.  I took today as a personal day to spend with the family at Hunter’s Moon.  Other than spending a half hour or so counseling a friend who is struggling, I spent the day loving on my wife and kids who have endured a great deal of ‘abscent dad syndrome’ lately due to my travel and workload.

But in the distance, I could see 4RC Tshirt clad volunteers serving their heart out.  And I know the blessing was real for many in Grand Rivers.

I’d like to throw a special amount of love out to the Lakes Campus folks who worship together regularly in Calvert City, KY.  You guys/gals ROCK.

I’m so proud of each and every one of you.  And it was nice to meet a few of the newer families today as well.

I hope everyone enjoyed the day as much as I did.

Why don’t you share your story about the festival or service elsewhere here on the blog.  I’d love to read about it.
