Getting off of the ole butt…
Recently I have been motivated, once again, to get up off my butt and work out. I am presently doing 20 – 30 minute work outs which include running, time on an elliptical and upper body and core weights. I plan to do the 30 minute workouts for a week and then move to 45 minute work outs. Basically, I just needed more time to think, focus and exercise. I’m sure it will be good for me on multiple levels.
My motivations are:
1. To have more energy at the end of the day for the most important things in life.
2. To be able to do more good for the kingdom of God and not be so easily exhausted.
3. To have a longer and more health filled life.
4. And to look better in my jeans… (ok I know this is vain… but its true.)
So what motivates you? What gets you off your butt to do the things that you don’t have to do, but know you need to do?
